Position Information
The Assistant Director/Deputy Title IX Officer supports the programs and functions of the Office of Title IX, Equal Employment & Affirmative Action (Title IX/EEAA), within the Chief Compliance organization. Title IX/EEAA leads the campus' efforts to prevent and respond to all forms of sexual violence, discrimination and harassment and coordinates campus affirmative action programs. The position serves as the campus Deputy Title IX Officer, performing delegated Title IX Officer functions under the UC Policy on Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment (SVSH) and serving as the Title IX Officer in the Officer's absence. The Assistant Director serves as a case resolution officer and investigator, particularly for complex or high-profile SVSH matters. The Assistant Director also helps coordinate and participates in training, education and outreach activities, collaborating with the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, CARE, Human Resources and other campus partners, and to coordinate and support other equal opportunity and affirmative action programs.
