UCR Health has a career opportunity for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing patient centric healthcare to our patients. The position's primary work location will be at Silver Oaks Women's Health Clinic. This position will work independently and in conjunction with a supervising physician to provide clinical expertise complex patients by taking detailed medical histories, performing exams, interpreting lab results, making diagnoses, and implement out-patient treatment. Provides patient/family member education promoting health maintenance and patient safety in a women’s health clinic setting. Provides care to women from adolescence through menopause with a focus on reproduction and gynecology. Collaborates with others in the clinic to assure smooth flow of patient care consistent with established quality indicators and participates in the overall coordination of patient care. The care delivered will be based on theoretical principals and scientific knowledge and in accordance with requirements set forth by the California Board of Registered Nursing.

All Covered Individuals under the policy must provide proof of Full Vaccination or, if applicable, submit a request for Exception (based on Medical Exemption, Disability, and/or Religious Objection) or Deferral (based on pregnancy) no later than the applicable deadline. For new University of California employees, the applicable deadline is eight weeks after their first date of employment.

Education acceptable by the California Board of Nursing to obtain required licensure. Required

Licenses

Current California Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license Required
Current unrestricted DEA license and National Provider Identifier (NPI) number. Required

Certifications

Certification Requirement
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Required
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Required
As required for provider Medicare enrollment, national certification from one of the organizations listed below that is recognized as national certifying body: Required
American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center, National Certification Corporation for Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties, Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (previously named the National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses), Oncology Nurses Certification Corporation, AACN Certification Corporation, or National Board on Certification of Hospice and Palliative Nurses. Required

Experience
