Position Information
The Circulation Services Coordinator is responsible for the direct supervision of staff and student employees, the opening of the library facility, and overseeing and managing the functional operation of the Circulation/Reserve Services Desk primarily in the Tomas Rivera Library. Will organize daily workflows, provide and administer all Circulation/Reserve Desk activities and services, coordinate emergency situations with other library departments, and coordinate staffing with other UCR Library Circulation Services Coordinators. Must be able to work flexible hours for staffing in backup situations including days, evenings, and weekends. Must be able to work Monday-Friday 7:15am - 4:15pm during the academic year.
This position is designated as a Mandated Reporter and will be required to complete trainings and comply with CANRA. Must pass FBI/Department of Justice background check.
The budgeted hiring range for this position is $54,893.52 - $62,974.08. As a condition of employment, you will be required to comply with the University of California SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Vaccination Program Policy. All Covered Individuals under the policy must provide proof of Full Vaccination or, if applicable, submit a request for Exception (based on Medical Exemption, Disability, and/or Religious Objection) or Deferral (based on pregnancy) no later than the applicable deadline. For new University of California employees, the applicable deadline is eight weeks after their first date of employment.
