Position Information
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Transfer Recruitment and Evaluation for Undergraduate Admissions, organize and administer motivational and informational outreach programs aimed at increasing readiness to transfer to the University of California and UCR enrollment from first-generation, low income, and underrepresented minority transfer students and community college-bound high school students. As an official representative of the University is available to prospective and admitted students, their families, the campus community and the general public to interpret and explain University policies, regulations, and admissions requirements. Represents the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the University at workshops, residential summer programs, and a variety of on/off-campus outreach and yield events. The Transfer Preparation Program Coordinator will develop and maintain collaborative relationships with K-14 and higher education institutions and/or community entities. Develops collaborative relationships with other college-going programs.
The budgeted hourly range for this position is $23.18 - $28.09.

Knowledge and experience working with a diverse student population.

Working knowledge of admissions requirements for campus/school/college.
Working knowledge of academic programs, including curricula, admissions requirements, and financial aid programs at UC.
Skills in organizing and setting priorities that accurately reflect the importance of the job responsibilities.

Skills in analyzing information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures to identify relevant concerns, identify patterns or tendencies, formulate logical and objective conclusions.
