Position Information
The UCR College Corps (Program) is a partnership with California Volunteers; University of California, Riverside (UCR); the City of Riverside; and the Riverside Unified School District and funded via contributions from each partner. Under guidance by an Assistant Director (AD), the Fellow Engagement Assistant (FEA) maintains critical role to communicate and monitor engagement and activities of College Corps Fellows (Fellows). Responsibilities include the annual recruitment and onboarding of Fellows; collecting, organizing, and analyzing data on Fellow attendance and engagement; and communicate and engage Fellows in their service assignments and in program activities. The FEA builds rapport and relationships with Fellows to ensure Fellows are actively serving and making timely progress towards their contract total by their end date. The AD will provide the FEA guidance and direction on recruitment and outreach priorities, the FEA will brief the AD on attendance and data trends indicative of Fellow engagement patterns. This position is a grant funded, starting in March 2022 and expected to run through July 2024 with a possibility of extension based on continued availability of funding and program performance. The budgeted hiring maximum is $38,000.00.

Minimum Requirements
Experience using business software systems in the completion of work assignments; i.e., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
Basic effective reading, verbal, written communications and presentation skills to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge or experience in program content and objectives. Knowledge of how to deliver educational programs in a variety of settings.
Ability to maintain positive interactions with others and work cooperatively.
Organizational skills to develop a project plan, monitor plans against established deadlines, and review and analyze results.
