Position Information

Under the general supervision of the Police Lieutenant, the Policy & Accreditation Coordinator conducts research, analysis, and report development in support of UCR's initial candidacy and ongoing accreditation of the campus' Police Department through the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA). The Policy & Accreditation Coordinator will support the continuous processes to meet and exceed reaccreditation requirements.

Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required

Licenses

Must possess or obtain a Valid CA Driver?s License in accordance with the California Department of Motor Vehicles by the date of hire and maintain throughout employment. Required

Experience

Experience Requirement
2 - 4 years of related experience. Required
Experience working in a University environment. Preferred
Prior law enforcement policy and process development experience. Preferred
MS Power BI software experience. Preferred
Experience in project planning and management involving critical path analysis and scheduling to coordinate and prioritize workloads. Required

Knowledge of MS Office Suite and Social Media platforms and programming.
Proficient in ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs.
Strong verbal and written skills and ability to effectively communicate.
Demonstrates ability to analyze, research and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
