Summer Sessions Project Coordinator

Position Information

The position provides support for Summer Sessions Project Policy Analyst and the unit with summer appointment and compensation processing, submitting Workfront tickets, ensuring data fidelity between systems, following-up on the completion of appointment letters and nomination approvals, troubleshooting issues, performing analytic studies and research on a wide variety of summer policies, issues, and needs, and assisting with the auditing and reconciling of the summer instructional budget. Incumbent works closely with FAST team through auditing and reconciling draft pay-files and appointment data to ensure the accurate and timely issuing of summer compensation, identifying issues, providing accurate information, and submitting Workfront tickets, troubleshooting issues, following-up on outstanding onboarding actions, and providing the FAST unit support as necessary. The position provides summer stakeholder support by servicing summer instructional staff appointment and compensation questions and needs, assisting administrative units with resolving summer issues, providing input on the development, revision, and design of various systems and processes, and performing ad hoc researching and reporting.

For new University of California employees, the applicable deadline is ten weeks after their first date of employment.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $52,100.00 - $70,900.00.

Must successfully complete a background check through the University's background check agency prior to your start date, and a fingerprint check through the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigations. Required

Minimum Requirements

Working knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs.
Working knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques.
Proficient in ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
Demonstrates ability to analyze, research and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Proficient in ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of project management system Work Front

Skill in creating DocuSign templates.
