Position Information
Reporting directly to Asst. Dean of Development for UC Riverside's Bourns College of Engineering, the Associate Director, uses professional skills and experience to plan and implement successful fundraising projects and programs in support of BCOE priorities for student support, including scholarships, fellowships, the annual Dean's Innovation Fund Match Challenge in support of student professional organizations, makerspaces, community outreach initiatives, special projects, student research experiences, etc. Works with student, alumni and parent volunteers. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Has strong communication skills and professional ethics. The position is expected to qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospective donors, increase the overall number of donors to the college, and solicit leadership annual gifts in support of college priorities.

Please note: all university development officers sign three-year renewable contracts which include the same employee benefits afforded career employees. The budgeted amount for this position is up to $80,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for hybrid accommodations.
