UCR University Extension is the learner-centered continuing education division of the University of California, Riverside and offers a wide range of programs designed to meet the needs of local, regional and global students and employers.

The Strategic Marketing Department at University Extension works hand-in-glove with the Global Engagement, Student Experience, and Academic Affairs teams to ensure that we deliver on the universal promise of professional and continuing education.

As Strategic Marketing Coordinator - Degree Completion and Professional Programs, you will manage the day-to-day marketing efforts from concept to completion for professional and degree completion programs in order to optimize opportunities. You will be the primary liaison with the Enrollment Advisors and the Public Education Specialists.

University Extension is a primarily remote working organization with staff who commute to campus for work as needed; the successful applicant for this position may perform this role remotely within the United States. This is a 3-year contract position with full benefits. Budgeted starting salary is $24.95 - $31.13, dependent on qualifications.

A digital portfolio, writing sample, or data management sample will be requested of interviewees.

This is a remote position with on-site work as business needs dictate.

Degree Requirement
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required
Bachelors degree in Journalism, Sociology, Data Analytics, Marketing or Communications Preferred

Experience

2 - 4 years of related experience. Required

Minimum Requirements

Written and interpersonal communication skills.
Solid knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, strategies and best practices.
Solid knowledge of institutional products and services.
Knowledge of customer service standards/procedures.
Organizational skills and skills in file creation, maintenance and management.
Entrepreneurial mindset
Basic HTML code skills
Knowledge or experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar graphic design tools
Knowledge or experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, CMS or Hootsuite
Ability to provide remarkable internal and external service, including skill in identifying perspectives and maintaining a commitment to excellence in service. Ability to listen, anticipate, and respond to the needs of the audience, clients and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the campus and/or medical center including its achievements, mission, vision, goals, objectives and infrastructure.

Knowledge of business and legal certificate programs and degree completion programs
