Position Information
The Associate Director for Campus Solutions leads a team of software engineers responsible for developing and supporting the campus portals, content management system, and custom applications. The role will also proactively ensure efficient management and resolution of demands, incidents, and requests reported in ServiceNow. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to providing direction and reviewing the work assigned to staff during all phases of project work, performing related tasks to assist staff in the completion of assigned work, coordinating the planning of end-user training for new functionality, identifying training and growth opportunities for staff, ensuring that the engineers adhere to the division's standardized methods for development, facilitating the implementation of quality assurance requirements for complex enterprise information systems and web applications, coordinating with the functional and ITS leadership to establish best practices and procedures to meet organizational SLAs.
This position is classified as remote with occasional visits to campus as needed. Working hours will be based on Pacific Standard Time (PST). The maximum budgeted annual salary for the position is $144,852.

Minimum Requirements
Extensive or advanced knowledge of subject area sufficient for strategic planning, technology assessment and direction.
Requires thorough knowledge relating to the planning, and coordinating of business programming applications activities.
Verbal and written communication, quantitative abilities, analytical technical applications programming systems management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical topics to large groups with potentially varied levels of technical sophistication.
Experience in the management of ongoing technology infrastructure acquisition and expansion, to include the identification and integration of suitable emerging technologies.
Thorough knowledge of technical concepts and basic operating principles of data communications, computer hardware, vendor IT products, and software.
Requires thorough knowledge of applications programming function, organizational effectiveness and health and safety (ergonomics, stress).
Experienced in leading change management activities and managing their impact across multiple units or departments.
Critical thinking, persuasion/negotiation, conflict resolution, mentoring and staff development, leadership/management, problem solving, and human resource policies and procedures relating to management responsibilities.
Ability to understand the process involved to adapt, integrate, and modify existing programs or vendor-supplied products for use within a large and complex technical environment.
