Position Information
Under the supervision of the Director of Gift Administration the gift specialist is an integral member of the four member Gift Administration team responsible for the quality and integrity of the alumni and donor database and ensuring that all gifts and pledges are recorded, acknowledged, and reported accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Demonstrated advanced skill levels in accurate record keeping with strict attention to detail.
Proficiency in applicable software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Four (4) years of related experience, such as processing gifts.
Demonstrated data entry and data management experience.
Ability to verify and enter financial, statistical, policy and procedure information efficiently and accurately.
Rapid, accurate typing skills.
Correct usage of English, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Proficient in producing word processing letters, document merge routines, and spreadsheets.
Ability to deal with confidential information in an appropriate manner.

Bachelor's degree in related field.
