Position Information

Working closely with the Project Manager, the incumbent in this position will assist in campus, clinical and community projects. Will assist in organizing the team, assist with scheduling, planning meetings and project activities. Projects will vary in size with some being small to others being seasonal. Will coordinate with employees/community in completing projects, participate in activities for data collection, and use the EMR for entry of information.


The position may require both onsite and telework activities, while complying with all requirements for client confidentiality, records, and data security. The position may require working non-standard hours (i.e., evenings, weekends). The position may require some travel and occasional participation in off-site functions. UC Riverside career employees who have passed their probationary period and former UCR employees affected by layoffs will receive priority consideration for this position. If a qualified pool of candidates from the campus is not identified, qualified candidates from the UC system, or external candidates may be considered at the discretion of the hiring department. Please note: This is a full time career position that will have an end date of June 30, 2022, with the opportunity to extend, subject to funding availability.

Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required

Minimum Requirements

Basic program and project management skills.
Acquiring knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques.
Basic skills to analyze and research information and learn to synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail.
Skills to learn organization-specific and other computer application programs.
Basic communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
Familiar with the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
