Position Information
The Professional Development Officer (PDO) is responsible for providing comprehensive support to student organizations, and engineering students; including assistance with University recognition, recruitment, program and event planning, major event risk management, accessing University resources, understanding and negotiating University policies and procedures, organizational development and enhancement, and leadership training. This position encompasses a wide variety of educational and administrative duties in the areas of professional development including assisting engineering students to navigate through professional and academic opportunities including undergraduate research, internships, and part-time and full-time positions. Serves as a liaison between the campus departments and the community.
