Position Information
The Student Services Advisor creates and maintains the Graduate Student employment and appointment process, generates and issues appointment letters, and audits entries into campus systems. This position ensures compliance with all relevant bargaining unit contracts for graduate students and provides direction to others on the appointment process. The advisor works with the finance team on the CNAS scholarship program and participates in the full cycle of the scholarship process from the fund disbursement, the announcement of available scholarships to students, coordination of faculty to score applicants, and award of scholarship to recipient. The advisor is also responsible for CNAS graduate student data management including reporting and analysis for external agencies and internal constituents.
This position is currently being recruited under two separate postings, as an STDT SVC Advisor 3 recruitment # 26888955 and STDT SVC Advisor 4 recruitment #26884521, and will be filled accordingly based on qualifications. Minimum Requirements

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of University-specific computer application programs and knowledge of University and departmental principles and procedures involved in risk assessment and evaluating risks as to likelihood and consequences.
Experience in student data reporting. Familiarity in translating data from diverse student information systems to comply with federal, state, and local requirements.
