Position Information
Under the general direction of the Acquisitions Unit Supervisor with additional work-related direction from the Metadata and Technical Services Department, the Acquisitions & E-Resources Processing Assistant performs paraprofessional duties based on general guidelines using knowledge of library principles and procedures. This position serves as lead assistant responsible for establishing resource records and initiating orders for all formats, particularly for monograph materials. This position will support the e-resources lifecycle in the library’s ILS and discovery system through e-resource processing, particularly in activation, access verification, and in supporting related licensing and usage statistics data management.
This position is designated as a Mandated Reporter and will be required to complete trainings and comply with CANRA. Must pass FBI/Department of Justice background check. The budgeted salary amount for this position is up to $68,799.60.
As a condition of employment, you will be required to comply with the University of California SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Vaccination Program Policy. All Covered Individuals under the policy must provide proof of Full Vaccination or submit a request for Exception (based on Medical Exemption, Disability, and/or Religious Objection) or Deferral (based on pregnancy) no later than the applicable deadline. Minimum Requirements
