Outreach and Engagement Director

Position Information

The Outreach and Engagement Director is primarily responsible for building relationships with faculty, staff, and campus partners to help maximize the value received from technology solutions used in research, teaching, recruitment, and engagement activities. Through strategic relationships, the Outreach and Engagement Director will identify current and potential technology needs, navigate and connect the individual to appropriate technology partners, and work to become a trusted advisor for those they support.

This position is classified as hybrid (50% on-site and 50% remote, on average). Working hours will be based upon Pacific Standard Time. The maximum budgeted annual salary for this position is $150,000.

As a condition of employment, you will be required to comply with the University of California SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Vaccination Program Policy. All Covered Individuals under the policy must provide proof of "Up to Date" Vaccination or, if applicable, submit a request for Exception (based on Medical Exemption, Disability, and/or Religious Objection) or Deferral (based on pregnancy) no later than the applicable deadline. For new University of California employees, the applicable deadline is ten weeks after their first date of employment.

Knowledge of the consulting process to effectively lead engagements from inception to conclusion.

Possesses strong consulting, relationship building, and strategic thinking skills.

Ability to persuade through both logic and appeal to positive motivations.
Ability to coach, facilitate and influence people at all levels.
Applies strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
