Position Information
The School of Medicine (SOM) Senior Data Analyst will utilize skills as a seasoned professional to establish high impact analytical reports/dashboards primarily relating to financial, administrative, and operational needs throughout the SOM enterprise. Specifically, the incumbent will serve an expert in the usage of business intelligence (BI) solutions and will collaborate with SOM units, IT, other analysts, end users, data owners, and BI and data management professionals to develop, maintain, and distribute reports to address the needs of the various units from a varied set of data types and sources. The incumbent will need to understand and interpret the general ledger and reconcile reports to identify issues as encountered. The budgeted salary for this position is up to $91,900.

| Proficient in developing technical specifications, presentations, training materials, user documentation, and technical documentation. Demonstrated success with overseeing software development lifecycle for enterprise-wide BI projects | Required |
| Experience with dimensional data modeling and relational databases. | Required |

Thorough knowledge of relevant internal databases, BI applications and tools. Ability to produce high-quality reports and documentation.
